Free, fun, and healthy activities for families – starting 19th September
We’re excited to announce that the Planet Munch Programme is launching at Edith Neville School in Camden this September, thanks to support from the London Social Ventures Accelerator Programme.
Starting on Thursday the 18th September, families will have the chance to take part in tonnes of fun activities, music, puppetry, nutrition and fun interactive learning for children under 5, older siblings and parents alike.
What to Expect
Planet Munch sessions are designed to help families enjoy healthy living together. Each week, families can look forward to:
🍎 Healthy snacks – try delicious, nutritious foods together
👩🍳 Nutrition sessions – simple tips to make mealtimes easier and healthier
💻 Digital learning – access our online activities and resources to keep the fun going at home
🎶 Music & movement – sing, dance, and play with the Planet Munch puppets
It’s all about making healthy choices fun – so children learn to love good food, and families feel supported to build happy, healthy habits.
🧸 Why Planet Munch?
Planet Munch was created by Trim Tots CIC, in partnership with health experts at UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health. The programme is evidence-based and proven to help families:
- Enjoy more fruit and vegetables 🍇🥕
- Feel more confident about food choices 🥗
- Build healthy routines that last 💪
And the best part? Children absolutely love the puppets, stories, and songs that bring the learning to life. 🌟
