Festival of Light and Reflection at Fishery Wharf Café in Boxmoor, Hemel on Saturday the 1st of November from 4:30-6

Willow and tissue paper are weaving their way through Dacorum and beautiful lanterns are beginning to appear in time for the Festival of Light and Reflection at Fishery Wharf Café , Hemel, on Saturday the 1st of November from 4:30-6

The team at Puddingstone Arts are delighted to have been joined by a team of artists, teachers, community-based makers and school children in the creation of beautiful lanterns ready for exhibition.

The lanterns will create a beautiful lit installation in the entrance to the café, and along the banks of the canal. Children in schools and the HomEd community have created over 50 lanterns to contribute to the visual spectacle. We are really impressed with the quality of the work.

A team of adult makers have been busy creating the larger-scale sculptures; a dragon fly, a weasel and a giant fish, to name but a few, are ready to be covered.

Our workshop at Fishery Wharf on the 28th of October – 12-4 for family audiences, is now sold out.

There are still spaces for the small adult and teens making session on the evening of the 28th at Fishery Wharf from 6-9.  We will be working to complete the larger structures for installation. Please email – Kerry@nysa.co.uk to book.

A very big THANK YOU, to all for your involvement and generosity in support of the project. We can’t wait to see it all come together.
