Have you ever met a Mermaid? – Come and meet the new puppets after the show

Meet Omega Always – Fun and playful, yet powerful mermaid character, upbeat and outdoorsy, she represents the flexible and rich in Omega 3 fats (long chain fatty acid that comes from kelp). Her beautiful singing has an intoxicating, mesmerizing quality, leaving people in a dream-like state.

Watford Roots

Planet Munch Puppets came to life in South Oxhey as part of Planet Munch Healthy Lifestyle Programme in partnership with the GOSH Institute of Child Health and Watford-based experts in early years nutrition. Nysa Projects were tasked with translating nutritional science into a series of educational sessions to help support families with children under 5’s to healthier lifestyles.

Watford-based Artists at Nysa collaborated to create a learning environment with a bespoke soundtrack, beautiful scenic backdrops and a set of character puppets. These artistic components were woven into the story and fantasy World that is Planet Munch cocreated with families attending 24 creative learning sessions packed with healthy nutrition art, music and dancing.

Workshops and performances available to schools in Dacorum. Workshops and performances are available to schools in Dacorum next term, please get in touch if you would like to work with us.

PLANET MUNCH is very well suited to curriculum-based expressive arts, science and PSHE activities at foundation and Key Stage 1 and 2 levels. The themes of the show directly serve to support national programmes to encourage healthy eating, wellbeing and active lifestyles.

My favourite part is all the teamwork and friendship to help each other and that is what friends are for.  This is the best puppet show I have ever seen.

Such a fun and inspiring show!  The kids really enjoyed it and are already asking for veg for dinner.  Great show.

Next Steps

Nysa are preparing an application to Arts Council National Touring to take the puppets on a road trip outside of  Hertfordshire, the excitement is massive. – Let us know if you would like to work with us.
