Feedback from recent shows at Hertfordshire Libraries

‘This was a wonderful opportunity for children to experience a high-quality performance and to get up close to the action. With a brightly coloured stage set and beautiful puppets imbued with character, the audience follows Brocc on his journey to fulfil his dream of becoming a performer.’

”So fantastic to watch, so colourful, funny, clever and the puppets were beautiful- so pleased we, came to watch – more please!”

Story so far..

Planet Munch Puppets came to life in South Oxhey as part of Planet Munch Healthy Lifestyle Programme in partnership with the GOSH Institute of Child Health. Nysa Projects were tasked with translating nutritional science into a series of educational sessions to help support families with children under 5’s to healthier lifestyles.

Nysa collaborated to create a learning environment with a bespoke soundtrack, beautiful scenic backdrops and a set of character puppets. These artistic components were woven into the story and fantasy World that is Planet Munch cocreated with families attending 24 creative learning sessions packed with healthy nutrition, art, music and dancing.

It’s time to go underwater and meet our new character Omega Always

We are creating an underwater scene featuring Omega Always, the mermaid, and her friends. We are working on a series of creative makes for YouTube to inspire young audiences to create recycled creations. Your schools could meet Omega Always – A fun and playful, yet powerful mermaid character, upbeat and outdoorsy.  She represents the flexible and rich Omega 3 fats (long-chain fatty acid that comes from kelp). Her beautiful singing has an intoxicating, mesmerizing quality, leaving people in a dream-like state.

Omega Always is absolutely livid about the state of the oceans and is utterly destroyed that she can’t swim without first checking the state of the water. #thestateofit

Workshops and performances are available to schools in Dacorum next term, please get in touch if you would like to work with us.

Next Steps

Nysa are preparing an application to Arts Council National Touring to take the puppets on a road trip outside of  Hertfordshire, the excitement is massive. – Let us know if you would like to work with us.
