Munchmas – A series of Festive Makes

At Planet Munch we are busy preparing for Munchmas and have produced a series of festive creative makes, poems and puppetry for the festive season. These sessions are perfect for children and their grown ups to complete at home or for the creatively minded looking for some Christmas crafting. The first one up is popcorn and cranberry garlands. Simple tree decorations for the Festive Season – Let’s make Munchmas Decor. At Planet Munch we have been busy preparing for Munchmas, Count Calories can’t wait for the big day and is ready to party at Cake Towers, he’s even got his outfit sorted for an afternoon Zoom!

This Munchmas we are making easy festive decorations using as many natural and recycled materials as possible. Join Chris as he makes a popcorn garland for the Munchmas tree, be careful nobody comes and eats it all before the big day.

This session has been created by Chris, we have been working remotely over zoom to bring you these creative sessions and are looking forward to coming together for some puppetry soon. Chris captured this video at home and has been developing content for our Arts Mark offer. Planet Munch musical puppet show is available to tour to schools, theatres, libraries and public spaces in 2021 and we have developed an exploring puppetry session which can be delivered pre or post performance.

When Chris isn’t working on Planet Munch he is busy teaching, performing and developing puppetry wherever he can. He writes and performs as a key member of Tea Break Theatre. Tickets are available for their Festive offering, Sleeping Beauty suitable for ages 3+ with online performances available from the 17th – 30th of December.

Planet Munch Musical Puppet Show was set to tour to Herts Libraries in 2020 but instead have been busy filming creative making sessions to keep you all busy at home. You will find lots of creative activities and can see the Planet Munch Puppets in action at our YouTube channel.
