Planet Munch Puppets: Bringing Fun, Creativity, and Healthy Living to Schools Across the South East!
At Nysa Projects, we are busy planning Planet Munch Puppets Tour, set to bring vibrant musical puppetry, creative workshops, and healthy living messages to primary schools across the South East.
What is Planet Munch?
Planet Munch is a unique blend of musical theatre, life-size puppets, and engaging storytelling, designed to captivate children and inspire them to lead healthy, active lifestyles. This interactive show takes audiences to the lively world of Pulse Dance Studio and the Five-a-Day Jazz Club, where they’ll meet Brocc, an aspiring “grub-step” champion, and a cast of hula-hooping fruit, beatboxing veggies, and more!
Beyond the fun and humour, the show carries an important message about eating well, staying active, and looking out for each other—themes that resonate with both children and their grown ups alike.
An Immersive, Educational Experience
One of the things that makes Planet Munch so special is its combination of entertainment and education. As well as enjoying the show, students have the opportunity to take part in a range of creative workshops that reinforce the themes and art forms presented in the performance. From puppet creation and music to bhangra dance and circus skills, we work with schools to customise workshops that fit their curriculum and engage students in a hands-on learning experience.
Here’s a glimpse of what Planet Munch has to offer:
- Original pop-based songs and puppetry that entertain and educate
- Workshops in music, dance, puppetry, and creative writing that encourage creativity and teamwork
- A story that promotes healthy eating, physical activity, and positive social interactions
- Full audience participation, making every performance a memorable event for children, parents, and teachers alike
Why This Show Matters
With growing concerns around children’s health and well-being, Planet Munch is more than just a fun day out for students; it’s a creative way to open conversations about the importance of leading a healthy, balanced lifestyle. The show also touches on deeper themes, such as friendship, kindness, and community spirit—all essential values in today’s world.
As we prepare for the tour, we are reaching out to partners who share our passion for education, creativity, and community engagement. Whether you are a school, local authority, or arts organization, we’d love to collaborate with you to make this tour a success!
